The two towns reviewed in this issue share a few traits - they are huge, sprawling, and very popular. Yet they are different too. Peachtree City is in Georgia and open to people of all ages, while Green Valley (pictured above) has mostly retirees and is in the Arizona desert. We are always a little surprised by it, but this sprawling community of 20,000 in very southern Arizona has been the #1 most popular community at Topretirements for 2 years running. It consists of many different developments with dozens of Home Owners Associations - so there is likely to be a community for just about everyone. The 2012 raise will be 3.6% - read on for more important details. This city near Atlanta is famous for its golf cart-centric transportation system.
